Puget Sound Swim Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the PSSC to offer specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of their abilities.
PSSC is a proud member of Pacific Northwest Swimming and USA Swimming. Annual registration with these organizations is required in order to join our team. The USA Registration fee is currently $67.00, which is valid now until December 31, 2015.
PSSC has a administration fee of $25 per swimmer upon joining. This fee is once per year. PROVIDED that the swimmer is not absent for more than two consecutive months. If absent for two months or longer in the year, the administration fee is applicable for rejoining. A new swimmer that has never swam for PSSC will also receive a new swimmer discount of $25 to offset your first year of the PSSC admin fee.
POOL: All of our practices occur at South Kitsap High School Community Pool, 425 Mitchell Ave., Port Orchard. The pool is located on lower campus adjacent to the tennis courts.
Splash is a program designed to introduce young swimmers to competitive swimming. Splash is offered three times a year, Winter, Summer and Fall. The entry requirement is to be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yds.) any stroke. For more information about Splash please click here.

Registration before the first class from 4:30 - 5:00.
COST: $50.00 per session, plus 2015 USA Swimming Registration ($67.00)

Novice is for the swimmer who has passed Splash or has equivalent skills. Practice will focus on learning all four competitive strokes, starts and finishes, flip turns and diving.
Workout Days/Times: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 4:30-5:30 PM.

Age Group 1
Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, start and turn techniques and having fun.
Workout Days/Times: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 4:30-6:00 PM.

Age Group 2
From Age Group 1, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 10 years old and have completed the move-up and training skills lists. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged at a rate of about once per month.

From Age Group 2, athletes entering this group must display a desire to train on a more committed basis. Attendance to all practices needed. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group.
